Dieter Wallach ist Professor f\u00fcr Human-Computer Interaction und Usability Engineering an der Hochschule Kaiserslautern. Er studierte Psychologie, Informatik und Informationswissenschaft an der Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes und promovierte dort im Graduiertenkolleg \u00abKognitionswissenschaft\u00bb. Er war Postdoc an der Carnegie Mellon University (1997-1998)<\/span><span> und der Universit\u00e4t Basel (1998-2000) und erhielt Rufe an die Hochschulen Heilbronn, Trier und Kaiserslautern, sowie an die Universit\u00e4t W\u00fcrzburg. Au\u00dferdem ist er Mitgr\u00fcnder der mehrfach ausgezeichneten UX-Agentur Ergosign GmbH, die er, gemeinsam mit Dr. Plach, von 2000-2024 als gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrender Gesellschafter leitete.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span>Zusammen mit Toni Steimle (Z\u00fcrich) ver\u00f6ffentlichte er das Lehrbuch Collaborative UX Design (2018, 2023). F\u00fcr seine exzellente Lehre wurde er mehrfach mit dem Landeslehrpreis Rheinland-Pfalz ausgezeichnet. Durch sein Wirken an der Hochschule und der Industrie pr\u00e4gt er den Aufbau des Fachgebiets Human-Computer Interaction im deutschsprachigen Raum.
